Entrepreneurship runs four generations deep in my family. My great-grandfather built businesses in manufacturing and oil and gas. My grandfather was a self-taught dental ceramist, crafting custom crown and bridge work by hand for decades. My dad spent his career in intellectual property law, protecting the innovations of other founders. Those were different paths and different industries, but the common denominators were always the same. It was about relentless craftsmanship and a fierce drive to build. That legacy was passed down to me, and it is the foundation of everything I do.
Getting here took some time and a few unexpected turns. I am dyslexic, and I grew up in a world of doctors and lawyers where nobody was talking about media or storytelling as a career. I had to find my own way in. Early on, I helped lay the foundation for what would become one of the largest B2B marketing firms in the country. From there, I transitioned into sports production, creating content for the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Nationals before landing at the Big Ten Network. There, I served as lead producer and editor on the BTN All-Decade project, which took home Best Social Media at the Cynopsis Sports Media Awards.
Every bit of that experience gave me a front-row seat to what it looks like when content is executed at the highest level.
Then, my career took me somewhere I never expected. I joined Moss Utilities as Content Director, spending three years building their media operation from the ground up. Moss is a high-profile wet utility contractor in North Texas, doing the critical, heavy civil work that keeps cities running but most people never see. I fell in love with the industry. Documenting that world and building a brand for the people who install the infrastructure we all depend on reminded me why storytelling actually matters.
That is exactly why I launched Kennedy Concepts. I built this company to give heavy industries the high-level storytelling they deserve, honoring the builders, the operators, and the legacy of hard work.
